Calypso Paikea Rhyder Lane was born on June 14, 2007 at 3:20 am. She was 3 lbs 1.9oz and 13 inches long. She was born at 29 weeks 5 days gestation. She was called home to God on July 7, 2007 at 3:50 pm at 23 days old. She died of Renal Failure as a complication of NEC (Necrotizing Enterocolitis) She is eternally loved and missed by all.
July was a hard month. I cried a lot, felt down a lot. And a lot of people didn't seem to realize how upset I was. I'm shattered, I feel like it's all happened all over again. I was at walmart and someone was putting on hand sanitizer. I lost it! It smelled just like the NICU and took me right back to the NICU. I miss my little girlie so so much.
